Come and find out about Richard Shimell's work and his latest book - Trees in Winter as he discusses printmaking and trees with Mari Fforde.

Richard Shimell was born in Wales in 1965. He became an artist/printmaker in his forties, following a career in journalism.

He moved to Monmouthshire in 2024, just before the publication of his book Trees in Winter.

Filled with images of his prints, this nature memoir also pays homage to the beauty of winter and the healing power of the natural world.
