The second Hay Castle Open Exhibition is taking place from 1st April (Independence Day) - 4th May 2025 and we are inviting people to submit work to show in the gallery.
The exhibition will show a broad range of fine art, photography and sculpture.
You can submit up to two pieces of work which can be done through the form below. You will need to provide a title, dimensions and images of your drawing, painting, sculpture or photograph. Successful applicants will be notified by email in March and their selected work will need to be delivered to the Castle.
There is no restriction on where you live but you will be required to deliver and possibly collect your work.
Hay Castle charges a commission is 40% for any works sold during the exhibition.
You can make payment for one or two works using the Entry Payment - this will provide you with the required ORDER NUMBER which you can enter on the form. (The order number is at the top of the confirmation email you receive after payment) This just allows us to tally up payments with submissions.

Terms & Conditions
Fees are £20 for each submitted piece and are non refundable. (only 2 pieces of work can be submitted per person)
- Max size for 2D is 150cm x 150cm
- Max size for sculpture is 100cm x 100cm and no more than 150kg
If successful, you will be notified by email.
The exhibition runs from 01/04/25 to 04/05/25 and selected work must be delivered to the castle.
Work must be clearly labelled on the reverse with name, title and price.
The decision of the Selection Panel is final.
Work will be insured whilst on exhibition at the castle.
Submissions are welcomed for fine art and sculpture only.
Hay Castle takes 40% commission on any work sold.
